Our Story
How it started
While working as an engineer with a construction company in Lagos, Nigeria, Chad relied on outside web design companies to get his projects online.
After investing millions of Naira in fees that didn’t add up, he decided to learn web design and development and digital marketing properly from the ground up, rather than keep depending on agencies that didn’t deliver.
That effort paid off. Chad didn’t just build the technical skill—he built his own successful websites/businesses and gained a real, hands-on understanding of what it actually takes to build a website that performs, not just one that looks good.
That experience is the foundation of what Affluent Website Design has become today.
How Affluent grew
After seeing the impact of his own web and engineering work, Chad began designing websites for friends and small businesses as a side project. This was never just about visual appeal — it was about building platforms that genuinely helped businesses grow and reach the customers who needed them.
Word spread quickly. Soon, more people — first across Africa, then in the UK and USA — were reaching out for that same expertise. What started as a way to help a few people became a genuine passion, with each project sharpening a commitment to making high-quality, results-driven web design accessible to businesses everywhere, not just those who could afford big agency prices.
That commitment became official with the founding of Affluent Group.
In 2015, it became official: Affluent Website Design was born.

His engineering background brings a structured, technically grounded approach to every project — one focused on how a website actually performs, not just how it looks.
Chad also runs Chadrobe.com, a live e-commerce fashion brand, giving him direct, ongoing experience with the technical and marketing realities small businesses face — from website performance to tracking, SEO, and paid advertising. That hands-on experience shapes the practical, results-driven approach behind every website Affluent Group builds.
